Global Pastor Training takes biblical training out of the classroom and puts it where it does the most good – in the local community. We do this by providing short-term intensive training workshops for poor and under-equipped pastors. Here pastors are exposed to biblical truth; experience authentic Christian fellowship and worship; are challenged to deepen their understanding of the gospel, and better shepherd their churches.
Serving Pastors with No Formal Training
Our goal is:
to raise up 100 Regional Teachers able to train their fellow pastors
for each Regional Teacher to equip 1,000 pastors/year
to increasingly “bridge the gap” between pastors with academic training and the vast majority with little or no training.
Our Strategy
We take equipping to under-equipped pastors. We go to pastors!
We do this through a tiered series of intensive training workshops that build on each other and address key aspects of pastoral ministry and leadership. GPT workshops incorporate:
A curriculum of learning based squarely on scripture and its theology
A joyous encounter with the gospel of Jesus Christ that includes worship and promotes renewal
Learning & growing in local communities
A gracious concern for poor and under-equipped pastors
A tiered multi-conference platform
A certificate of completion for faithful participants
Why pastors?
We go to pastors because they are the ones entrusted by God to shepherd the flock of God.
Pastors are God’s appointed leaders for His Church (Eph. 4:11-16).
Multiplying Impact. If we strengthen 1 pastor 1 time, we can strengthen 100 believers (a church) for years to come.
Our ministry: 5,000 pastors 1 time.
