Kisii county project 2024-2025

Original Project Scope

At the invitation of the Kisii County Pastors and Clergy Forum (KCPCF), Global Pastor Training will begin the first of 22 Pastor Training Workshops in Kisii County, Kenya in November 2024. The shared goal of the partnering organizations is to train all willing pastors in Kisii County’s 11 sub-counties in the next 12 months, with standardized pastoral training for the county’s more than 1,000 serving church pastors.

GPT’s founder, John Crimmins, will travel to Kisii County in November for the initial workshops, which will launch the year-long project. The project begins with a prayer meeting at Rehoboth Christ Mission Centre Church on Sunday, November 10, 2024, 3pm to 5pm. The first Pastor Training Workshop will be held November 11-15, 2024 Kisii South Subcounty at New Beginning Church. The second pastor Training workshop will be held November 12-15, 2024, in Kenyenya subcounty at Reformed Church Mission.

KCPCF expects more than 90 pastors will attend the workshop in Kisii South, and more than 150 pastors will attend in Kenyenya.

GPT’s Goal

We believe that, as the Lord is pleased to bless and use it, this project has the potential to bring biblical renewal (Rom. 12:1, 2) to the pastors of Kisii County, and through them to the believing families of Kisii County. We believe, further, that this renewal will in turn impact the surrounding area and peoples positively for the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. To God be the glory!
